Arcade Kit FAQ

Everything you need to know about material choices, button spacing, and shipping.

Why choose a flat-pack CNC arcade kit over a fully assembled cabinet?

Fully assembled cabinets typically cost $1,500 to $6,000+ plus $400-$800 in freight, weigh 250-350 lbs, and often will not fit down standard 28"-30" basement doors or stairwells. Our industrial-grade flat-pack kits start at $349 and give you the same (or superior 3/4" Baltic Birch) cabinet structure, pre-slotted T-molding, and interlocking cam-lock joinery, while keeping complete freedom over your PC, Raspberry Pi, monitor, and controls.

Can I bring this arcade kit down into a finished basement or tight room?

Yes! Because our kits ship flat-packed in high-protection modular cartons, you can easily carry each panel downstairs or through tight hallways one person at a time, then assemble it directly inside your game room in under an hour.

What joinery and assembly methods are used in your arcade kits?

Every arcade kit is CNC routed with precision interlocking dado grooves, cam-lock joinery, and pre-drilled pilot holes. Most builders can dry-fit and fully assemble the cabinet within 20 to 30 minutes using standard wood glue and a screwdriver.

Are T-molding slots pre-routed on all cabinet gables?

Yes. All exposed side profiles and control panel edges come pre-slotted with a standard 1/16-inch center kerf sized for 1/2", 5/8", or 3/4" T-molding, saving you hours of router table work.

What button and joystick layouts can I choose?

We support both 30mm Japanese arcade buttons (Sanwa Denshi / Seimitsu) with Japanese-spaced curve layouts, as well as classic 28mm American Happ/IL horizontal layouts. You can also upload your own CAD or DXF vector file for custom button placements, trackballs, or coin door cutouts.

What materials do you cut arcade cabinets from?

We offer black industrial satin melamine (no painting required), 3/4" premium Baltic Birch plywood for heirloom builds, and high-density paint-grade MDF. All edges are CNC cut with zero tear-out.

Do you ship arcade kits across Canada and the United States?

Yes, our flat-pack arcade kits ship in reinforced protective packaging throughout Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, British Columbia, and all 50 US states. Direct local pickup is also available at our Toronto and Arizona manufacturing hubs.
